DAY 1 : WELCOME TO ISTANBUL

 Today is an arrival day. We meet our guide in our hotel

and might go out for a first walk.

DAY 2 : ISTANBUL CITY TOUR (B)

After breakfast our guide takes us on a tour of the only

city to span 2 continents, Europe & Asia.  We will visit the Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Aya Sophia, Underground cistern and the Hippodrome. Our guide will reveal the stories of the rise and fall of the different empires.

DAY 3 : ISTANBUL TO KUSADASI VIA TROY / PERGAMUM (B)

We depart Istanbul and drive to the famous ruins of Troy with Trojan horse for a fully guided tour.

This afternoon we explore Pergamum, with one of the steepest theatres and home of modern medicine.

Tonight we rest in Kusadasi.

DAY 4 : EPHESUS TOUR (B/L)

After breakfast we are guided round the best preserved classical ruins in the world, the city of Ephesus. The Library of Celsius, the Grand Theatre.  We also visit the House of the Virgin Mary (where she supposedly lived her final days), the Cave of the Seven Sleepers and one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world, the Temple of Artemis.

DAY 5 : KUSADASI TO PAMUKKALE & KOYCEGIZ (B/L)

We drive east today for the calcium terraces of Pamukkale (cotton castle) and the ruins of Hierapolis. We stop for lunch, then walk around this natural phenomenon and have the option of swimming amongst the ruin in a natural spring, before continuing for the quiet village of Köyceğiz for our night stop.

DAY 6 : BOAT TRIP KOYCEGIZ - FETHIYE (B/L)

After breakfast we board a boat and cruise across Lake Koycegiz where we will have numerous opportunities to swim. We head of to Turtle Beach, where the Aegean and Mediterranean meet and on our return journey back before jumping in the natural thermal springs.  After the cruise we take a short bus trip to our night stop in Fethiye. 

DAY 7 : FREE DAY FETHIYE  

Recommended : Hidden Canyon of Saklikent

Jeep safari ; Paragliding.

DAY 8 : GULET CRUISE TO KALE 4d/3n(B/D/L)

 Note: In case of poor weather/sea conditions, this program can be changed at the sole discrection of the captain.

Departure from Fethiye Harbour between 11 and 12 a.m. to Samanlik Bay for swimming & lunch.  Butterfly Valley is our next stop for a swim & to visit this natural reserve, hosting 136 kinds of different butterflies and months.  Afterwards we cruise to Oludeniz (The Blue Lagoon).  Option for paragliding available.  Last stop of the day is St-Nicholas Island.  Visit the Byzantine ruins, swim, dinner & 1 st night.

DAY 9 : GULET CRUISE TO KALE 4d/3n (B/L/D)

Around sunrise departure to Aquarium or Fırnaz Bay near Kalkan for breakfast & swimming. Cruising to Kaş where we stop for lunch & visit of this charming fishing village. Lycian rock tombs, sarcophagi and Roman theatre. In a bay near Kekova we stop for swimming, dinner & the 2nd night.

DAY 10 : GULET CRUISE TO KALE 4d/3n (B/L/D)

 Breakfast. Departure to Sunken City (this Lycian-Roman archaeological is protected, so only looking). Simena, a traditional Turkish fishing village with no car access, Byzantine/Ottoman castle & rock tombs.  In Gokkaya Bay water sports are available.  Dinner, relax in this pirates haven or party the night away at the Smugglers Inn.  

DAY 11 : GULET CRUISE TO KALE 4d/3 (B/L)

After breakfast we have a look at the Pirates Cave before cruising to Andriace harbour (lunch). Bus transfer to the archaeological site of Myra, and to Demre for the St-Nicholas Church, shopping and banking when requested.  Night bus to Cappadocia.

DAY 12 : FREE DAY CAPPADOCIA

 Check into hotel.

Recommended : hire a scooter/car and visit Pigeon

Valley, Göreme Open Air Museum, Zelve and its Fairy Chimneys, Devrent Valley, Üçhisar Castle.

DAY 13 : CAPPADOCIA TOUR (B/L)

After breakfast you will be taken on the second part of your tour of Cappadocia, Derinkuyu Underground City before we trek through the Ihlara Valley. This evening we depart to Istanbul.

DAY 14 : ISTANBUL

We arrive in Istanbul early in the morning and check into our hotel to freshen up. The day is yours to do some last minute shopping or take a Turkish bath.

DAY 15 : ISTANBUL (B)

After breakfast our tour finishes and we bid farewell to our new found friends.  Wherever you are heading to next, you will take unforgetable memories and a new understanding of this country that plays such an important part in history.
